Showing a brilliant, light straw hue, our 2014 Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay is a wine of class and breeding. Aromas of dried grass, lavender, and light brown spice give way to tangerine zest notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh and medium full-bodied, with almond skin and further tangerine notes. Finishing with a burst of acidity and light creaminess from aging in 33% new French oak, this wine is delicious now and should improve under screw cap for 3 or more years.
