2014 Pinot Noir, El Jabali ~ Mt Eden Clone

With a beautiful, deep garnet color to the rim of the glass, our 2014 Pinot Noir from the Jabali Vineyard shows the character of the thirty-four year old vines from which it is produced. This vintage the vineyard produced a wine that is more about spice and structure than about overt fruit, with intense cardamom and coriander notes and a dominating aroma of slightly wilted red rose. On the palate, raspberry and loamy earth flavors shine through, highlighting a firmly tannic finish with brisk acidity.
