A Guided Nature Walk & Wine Tasting

Experience the estate from a different perspective with a guided morning of birdwatching, nature, and wine.

Led by expert birder Sophie Cameron, guests will set out on a leisurely walk through the vineyards and surrounding landscape, learning to identify the birds that make their home in, and migrate through, the Sta. Rita Hills. Along the way, Sophie will share insight into local species, behaviors, habitats, and the broader ecosystem that surrounds the vineyard.

Designed for curious beginners and seasoned birders alike, the experience offers a chance to slow down, look a little closer, and discover a side of the estate that often goes unnoticed.

Following the walk, guests will gather for a relaxed tasting of Alma Rosa wines accompanied by thoughtfully selected small bites.

No birding experience is necessary. Guests are encouraged to bring binoculars if they have them and wear comfortable walking shoes and layers appropriate for the morning weather.
